Rock Creek Productions produced this primary theater program for the Saylorville Lake Visitors Center. Saylorville Lake is a 20,000 acre park and lake just north of Des Moines, Iowa. The goals of this program were to introduce visitors to the park itself, to teach viewers about the importance of flood control and the role played by dams and reservoirs, to highlight the efforts of park rangers to restore the land to its natural state and to leave viewers with a message about their role in helping to preserve the park, our waterways and our environment. The program is now being shown on DVD in the park’s visitor center and has the potential to reach over 1 million park visitors each year.
