Oct. 4, 2010 -- Rock Creek recently completed a pro-bono promotional and fundraising video for Habitat For Humanity of Washington, DC. Better Built Together captures the story of one family, the Brawners, on their journey through the Habitat process as well as showcasing the stories of various volunteers.  Their narratives shine a bright light on the real physical and emotional effect Habitat has, not only on the homeowners, but also on its volunteers and communities.

Throughout the journey of the production Rock Creek was able to not only capture the events from behind

the lens, but was able to participate in all aspects of volunteering, from building to fundraising.  Due to the amount of time spent on the project we were able to get a clear insight into the amount of work, dedication and heart that goes into each home and each family. 

A truly unique experience in a city where fast turn around productions are prolific, and an endeavor that we feel grateful to have been a part of.

Better Built Together was premiered at the Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter Work Project Event in conjunction with World Habitat Day on October 3^rd and 4^th 2010 in Washington, DC.  The video will later be posted on DC Habitat’s website: www.dchabitat.org.  You can also see it on our website in the PROJECTS section.
